Vivo X60 series teased again, confirmed to come with Exynos 1080 SoC

Vivo is gearing up for the launch of the X60 series of phones with the company teasing the upcoming X60 and X60 Pro phones a number of times over the last few days. Now, the phone maker has gone ahead teased the device once again. The latest teaser confirms once again that the phones will come with the upcoming Exynos 1080 chipset.
The chipset has already been announced, with Samsung revealing that it has been manufactured using the 5nm EUV FinFET process. This new chip houses an octa-core CPU which is backed by powerful Cortex-A78 cores and gets the Mali-G78 GPU got games. Other key features of the Exynos 1080 are the support for HDR10+, 144Hz refresh rate at Full HD+ resolution, support for up to 200MP stills, and 4K Ultra HD videos.
Samsung claims that in general, the chipset will offer a 14 percent improvement in performance and about 30 percent in power consumption when compared to a chipset manufactured using an 8nm LPP process.
Earlier, a previous teaser shared by the company revealed some design details of the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro 5G. The teaser image shows that the Vivo X60 5G series will be available in grey, white, and gradient colour options. Reports suggest the new X60 phones will come with a slim profile and will also sport quad cameras, with the base model offering a triple rear camera set-up. In terms of the hardware, the lenses have been teased to be backed by Zeiss optics. The devices are also set to get an advanced stability mechanism for clicking photos — Ultra-Stable Micro-Head Camera sensor. This could be an upgrade on the gimbal stabilisation which we saw on the X50 Pro earlier in the year. The X60 5G will also come with Night Vision 2.0.
The phones are also tipped to get a 120Hz AMOLED display and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The phones are also rumoured to be around 7.3mm in thickness — making it the world’s thinnest 5G smartphone. Reports had previously said that the Vivo X60 phones with Exynos 1080 will also come with fast charging speeds of 33W. Another report has in the past had claimed to reveal the price of the Vivo X60 series, with the Vivo X60 said to start retail at Yuan 3500 in China at the time of its launch.
